Hi there! My name is Del Mauricio and I am a multi-media designer and founder of Aesthetic Philosophies – a graphic design studio and design blog. Aesthetic Philosophies was founded in 2013.
Aesthetic Philosophies is based in the Greater New Orleans area, but serves clients across the United States. My expertise and services are in the fields of graphic design, logo design, brand identity design, and video editing. See a complete list of creative services.
I have worked with big and small businesses in a variety of industries. From consumer brands, to industrial equipment manufacturers, tech startups, and healthcare companies. Clients include Yokogawa, Precision Digital, Auburn FilterSense, the Whole30, Pain Care Labs, Destrehan Plantation, and more.

My Design & Marketing Background
My career as a professional graphic designer began in October of 2005. I was hired as a marketing communications specialist at Precision Digital Corporation. They are a leading global industrial equipment manufacturer in Hopkinton, MA serving customers in the oil and gas, water, wastewater, and chemical industries. During my 8-year tenure at Precision Digital, I worked closely with the President and VP of Marketing to develop and maintain the company’s brand identity as well as help market their products.
At Precision Digital I gained valuable experience in both graphic design and marketing. My primary responsibilities included the design of marketing collateral, business cards, mailers, advertising, presentations, workbooks, spec sheets, and signage. In addition, I was responsible for managing direct-mail and advertising campaigns as well as their social media marketing.
Other fun projects I got to work on include the design of several logos and faceplates for their new lines of display instrumentation. I also designed the user interface for a product configuration software, and produced a few of their product videos.
After 6 years in this role I was promoted to senior marketing communications specialist and became known as the “aesthetics” guy. If the aesthetics of something needed to be improved, then it had to go through me, or as they coined it, it had to be “delarized”.
Working for Precision Digital also gave me the opportunity to work with several leading brands in the process automation industry including Siemens, Rosemount, Yokogawa, Vega, Ashcroft, and Fluidwell.
In August 2013, I moved to the Greater New Orleans area and founded Aesthetic Philosophies on September 18th. Instead of leaving my role at Precision Digital, a job I truly enjoy, I continue to work with them as a contractor. As a consultant I have also worked with local and national brands including Yokogawa, iRobot, the Whole30, Auburn FilterSense, Ground Water Rescue, Pain Care Labs, the Dollar Pet Club, and more.
Today I provide businesses across the United States with graphic design, logo design, and video editing services that helps them grow and improve their bottom line. Aesthetic Philosophies is a growing graphic design studio established in September of 2013 as my design consultancy. I operate out of my home office in Metairie, LA. From day one I have worked with diverse clients across the country on a variety of graphic design, logo design, and video editing projects.

The Founder
I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Advertising (Creative Design Concentration) from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, with a Dean’s Recommendation. I decided to go for a degree in advertising rather than one in graphic design because it would give me a deeper understanding of how to market to customers by using design and copy.
For more than 15 years I have worked with big and small businesses around the U.S. helping them grow through better design and branding. When I'm not designing, I am writing articles about logo design, graphic design, marketing, and freelance for my design blog and other Blogs I contribute to.
I love to travel and try to do it as much as I can because it fuels my soul and creativity (I know... such a cliché but very true). I enjoy the occassional game playing on World of Warcraft.
